[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shield fits the bowl of the mixer well and keeps the flour from flying out of the bowl when mixing in other ingredients. It works well with liquid ingredients also. The clips keep the shield in place even when you accidentally knock the shield while using. This is an upgrade from the shield that used to sit loose on the bowl.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our KitchenAid and we do a lot of baking over the holidays. This pouring shield was a game-changer. Snaps on securely and stays put. It made adding dry ingredients so much easier and a great deal cleaner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great accessory for avoiding making messes when you're mixing up a batch in your stand mixer. It's very easy to install and super-intuitive on its use. Just pour in the ingredients in the tube and avoid anything splattering elsewhere. I'd definitely recommend this.

It fits perfect and does an amazing job. And to have the ability to pour stuff in while the mixer is mixing is such a great feature

With the amount of flour and eggs, this simple attachment has made adding ingredients so much easier.
It snaps firmly to my mixer bowl. No flying flour. Well worth it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This attachment makes messes disappear! I no longer have to worry if my product is splashing out of the bowl. The opening also makes adding ingredients like milk or water as you go much easier. It fits perfectly on the bowl and cleans easily. Definitely makes using my kitchen aid even more enjoyable and convenient.

Does not fit model KG25H0XER5

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We own an older model bowl lift KitchenAid mixer (KG25H0XER5). This pour shield does not seem to fit on our bowl lift model. It's a 5 quart stainless steel bowl, the same one that came with the mixer, but the fit is very poor. The pour shield is a bit larger than the bowl - there are large gaps between the lip of this pour shield and the mixer bowl, the black "clips" don't touch the bowl at all, they're a half inch or more away from the bowl, so the pour shield just sits very loosely on top of the bowl. A light sneeze could likely knock this pour shield off of the bowl completely.
I can't say for sure if this would fit any other bowl lift models, but it's useless for my model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The pour spout is wide enough so that you can pour ingredients into your bowl without them spilling. It's very durable..The quality is great. It's dishwasher safe. I highly recommend.
