Great for meat shredding!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shredding meat in my KitchenAid mixer is one of my favorite kitchen hacks ever! We get to have chicken tacos and pulled pork sandwiches much more often than when I was shredding it by hand! This Beater works better than any of the regular beaters I have for shredding the meat more consistently and thoroughly! I love that it can go in the dishwasher.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally, a beater that really helps incorporate butter into flour, etc. It's so hard cutting in by hand, the ease and smoothness of this beater is perfect. This is going to be my go to attachment for my kitchenaide. Truly an awesome gadget.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first Pastry Beater I have ever had, and I have to say it works great. Once I got the hang of it, I found it worked really well in certain baking applications. It is now part of the "must have" group of accessories I have for baking.

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!

Not unlike a couple of other reviewers of a year ago, I ordered the pastry beater - described as "KitchenAid - Pastry Beater for KitchenAid® Bowl-Lift Stand Mixers" - Order #0703749229 on 11/21/21, for my K5SS -. Shame on me - had not tried to use beater until this week! Beater jammed against side of bowl, lever locked, so unable to lower bowl. Alas, I finally sprayed w/ Pam to enable removal of beater. Only upon reviewing the instructions manual rec'd with the beater, did I learn item is not compatible w/ my K5SS. Obviously, non-returnable since 60 day period expired.
Undoubtedly, this is a great item; however, I can only recommend to contact customer service prior to ordering this item to assure will fit one's machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this for my bowl lift stand mixer and it does not fit into the bowl. completely useless. I am soooo disappointed. Was expensive too.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect pastries

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the attachment I have been needing! I can finally make perfect pastries without wearing my hands out. The design folds butter into dough perfectly. My pastries are light and fluffy with the perfect amount of crisp.

Instead of doing it by hand this attachment allows me to do less work. Mixing and cutting is now simple!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] got this to make homemade pie crusts with a friend, and it's amazing. Makes mixing so much easier and more thorough. Breaks down the butter much better and more consistently dispersed throughout. Have tried it once on bread dough and works just as well. Super easy clean-up with the coating too.
