Great off-road camping trailer battery

I bought this battery to replace the two 6Volt golf cart batteries that I used on my travel trailer. The golf cart batteries were flooded batteries that I needed to maintain the water levels. I got tired of having to check and fill the battery water. The old batteries were mounted outside on the tongue of the trailer. I purchased this AGM 200Ah 12volt battery and moved the battery location inside the trailer. This battery is sealed and does not “off-gas” any fumes or vapors. I mounted it under a storage cabinet and had to re-route the associated wiring to inside the trailer. I’m very happy with this battery! It has performed wonderfully for us. It provides us plenty of power when we “dry” camp and it recharges fully with our solar system. It is heavy (130lbs) but the price difference from a lighter weight Lithium battery was why we chose this AGM battery.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am in my 8th year of off-grid living. My previous battery bank (conventional lead-acid marine batteries) lasted that long because I do not draw my batteries down below 75% of capacity. I decided to switch to Renogy 200 AH AGM in order to reduce the number of batteries in the bank. Just one of them never draws down below 50% of capacity, even as we no approach the shortest day and least direct sun of the year. I will soon add at least two more of these batteries in order to keep capacity at above 75%. (PS: FYI, my solar panels are Renogy 100 watt monos in an 8-panel (40 amp) 12v array, feeding a Renogy 40 amp MPPT charge controller.)

The AGM 200Ah battery arrived in five days. Its very heavy and large. I had initially planned to use it in the van, but decided not to because of its large size and heavy weight (128 lbs) and was not sure if I should connect it with the 100 Ah AGM batteries in the van. I installed it instead with the solar unit on my property. It was 84% charged when hooked up to the charge controller. It charged up to 100% within a half hour and has been working great. I own three Renogy 100Ah AGM batteries purchased over the last two years and they all perform well in my van. I’ve been satisfied with the performance of Renogy batteries and plan to order more in the near future.
It was the perfect part to complete my electrical system along with my inverter. My system is now up and running leaving me not wanting for power. My 300W Solar Kit, 200Ah AGM battery, and 1000W pure sine wave inverter (all Renogy), has made my life so much easier. Just wish the rest of my van would cooperate (blasted thermostat).
Both batteries came packaged very well, no damages. I installed them and let the inverter top the charge in them. I shut the power off and let the batts do their thing. They are keeping 3 freezers and two frigs and a few lights, TV, Dish network and two computers happy for 6 hours no problem and probably would go for several days. I'm happy.
So far so good. Bluetooth is glichy but when it does connect to my phone I love the info provided. Fit and finish of the batteries are good quality. I've had the batteries for 30 days. Would have given 5 stars if the Bluetooth was more reliable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

48v series 2 parallels

I have 8 of these batteries connected as 2 parallel series of 4 batteries with a 48 volt inverter. I wired this to a 240 ac power center and it will run a significant amount of electronics. It is a complete off-grid system and works great. Renogy support was also great with questions setting these up with my charge controller settings.
