Good overall laptop with a few glitches!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this laptop a couple of weeks ago. Wanted to buy earlier but Lenovo kept changing the price. Laptop has a good feel. Only issue I have so far is that if your laptop goes into sleep mode for more than 10 minutes I cannot wake it up at all. Checked all settings and it still does it. I am fully updated so hoping Lenovo will send an update to fix this issue. Also the Lenovo bluetooth mouse that I purchased seems to freeze occasionally. Not sure if this is the mouse or computer causing this issue. Other than this it boots up fast and handles everything I need to do with ease.

I received this laptop about 2 weeks ago and I am pleased by it. It is a compact laptop, but with a large 16-inch display that looks great. Also pretty fast, I can run some games, do some video editing and productivity task without any issues. The only thing is that the RAM raises to 75% usages easily, so I wonder if 16GB will be enough for the next few years, but the other components aren't struggling at all. Good premium metal chassis feeling, almost feels like a macbook pro space grey.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this for 2 weeks. Its soooo good. The performance is great, the screen is so nice to look at. The brightness is also nice as well. I did have a problem of it not waking up when it went to sleep for long, but it got solved after i updated the bios driver through the lenovo website. For those not sure it comes with 2 graphics. The 3050 and an Amd raedeon so don't be scared about battery life, as the integrated can be used for usual activities and its very capable. Integrated has a 2gb vram and dedicated has 4gb and you get about extra 4gb shared from ram. Very good so far, would recommend,

First with the good,
The build is quite solid, doesn’t feel flimsy.
Screen is quite nice, would be better with more contrast and another 150nits of brightness. 500 nits should be the minimum for a laptop that has potential to be work laptop.
The speed is quite good overall, even with the lowest power setting.
But truth be told, because of the 16mb I can’t use this laptop seriously, so should never have an issue. I’m relegating this laptop to be used when I want to sit at my couch and just surf and minor office work. No serious programming possible, the memory limitation would just bog it down.

The Really Bad:
The keyboard.
Personally, the number pad is a waste of space. Good for accountants. Even accountants can get a portable number keypad if needed. By the adding the number keypad you shrink the letter keyboard. Not worth the trade off. My typing on that keyboard is off and I can not get used to it. I have no choice but carry a portable keyboard when I know I will be doing lots of typing. Really! On my old Thinkpad W500 the keyboard is full size, about an inch wider.
Also, the function keys are so tiny, I use the keys often and it’s a pain.

Finally the key travel is so short I keep inadvertently hitting keys. I understand it’s 1.5mm. Really not enough. 2.0mm should be the minimum. OR give folks the options when purchasing.
Do the following for 5 stars.
Give me the option with a no numpad for a full size keyboard and longer key presses.
Add an extra 150 nits and an extra 500 points of contrast.
Add an option for 32mbs of ram or more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Laptop is sleek and sturdy. Keyboard has a great layout and feels nice to the touch. System performance is good overall. I took one star off as there were a few too many settings that I had to go through to make the system function properly. ie) laptop would not wake up from sleep when lid was closed. It may be Windows 11 causing the issues, but stuff like that should be setup prior to being received by the customer.
