Great battery life, features and durability. However The only Problem is how bulky the watch is. Can cause issues.

I received the Tactix 7 through my NASM affiliation, and although I have not delved into all of the features completely, the Body Battery alone has provided vital information to make adjustments to my overall fitness. Highly recommended!

Amazing Watch

The battery life on this is incredible. I use it daily for various activities from running, biking, hiking, and snowboarding mainly; and has been holding up great. Still only need to charge maybe once every other week.
Mainly got this version for hunting and the aviation aspects of it, but still find myself going back to my large phone screen or a tablet for those things. I do find myself using the built in green flashlight all the time now in the dark instead of a headlamp. I do regret not getting the solar version for that reason, but I haven't lost sleep over it.
Went from the more traditional consumer smart watch to the Garmin family with this one and I don't think I'll be changing brands anytime soon now - highly recommend.

Being a hunter / wildlife photographer I don't leave home without this watch! Does everything I need and more. The new features on the maps are the reason for the upgrade. Hunt maps with private / public boundaries is a plus.
having faces with features you can customize is awesome! all the data on one screen.

Garmin Tactix 7 100%

A few years ago I switched from Apple Watch (fragile and needs charging every day) to a Garmin Tactix Bravo. The Garmin blew my Apple Watch out the park. When the Tactic 7 launched I knew I need to upgrade. The Tactix 7 is by far the best watch on the market for anyone who lives an active lifestyle. I live and work 9 month a year in Africa as an engineer. I travel the roughest terrain and work in harsh conditions and the Garmin handles it flawlessly. Besides work, I'm always trail running, hiking, riding enduro motorcross, paddle boarding and golfing. The Garmin has been brilliant for all of them. The Tactix 7 has an amazing battery life, awesome touch screen and simple to use features. Not to mention the flashlight which I basically use every day.

All fine except display

I love Garmin watches and currently happily own the tactix AMOLED. I wanted a MIP as well, but the sapphire glass takes away from the brightness and the glare becomes too much. Power glass is much better, which leaves us with only one choice and that is the Fenix 7x solar. While the sapphire glass is very good for protection, it compromises the display brightness on all MIP display watches
