All the features you’ll ever need and more

Purchased a few weeks ago for tracking temperature, hiking , camping and other outdoor adventures, built in GPS and topo maps make and excellent feature when hiking and navigating the outdoors. Very customizable with many map datum’s and coordinates styles. Being able to navigate back to were you started or to a specific area with the function of any larger GPS. Built in flashlight for those every day task comes in handy.From the Gym to the track to the deepest backwoods this device has you covered. OHhh did I mention it also has a watch to help you keep time. Lol

Freezing and Battery Drain

I bought this a couple weeks ago and it has given me problems ever since and seems to develop new issues every day. Freezing when plugged in, connecting to wifi, looking for software updates, and overnight. Battery life is awful. Full charge says “20 days” and dies overnight while it’s frozen. I have overslept two days due to freezing and alarm issues. Have had Garmin watches since 2011, never had issues like this. If Garmin can’t keep up with newer features, I may have to look elsewhere for a smart watch.

Love the MIP display. Touchscreen is responsive. The look of the tactix is great just wish for the price the standard would come with the nylon strap as well.

Honestly, for how expensive it is I think you get your moneys worth. It comes with ton of features that if you need them then you definitely will use them. Wish it had a rucking workout

Everything you could want in a watch

After have a fenix 3 for almost 7 years I was a little reluctant to get into a new watch. But as soon as I put the Tactix on I was hooked. For a large watch it feels very light and comfortable. The display is crystal clear and simple to navigate with either touch or buttons.
I’ve worn the watch through field training, ultra trail runs, and everything in between. The integrated Garmin Connect app makes planning and training as simple as could be. Strongly recommend this for anyone serious about their training, data, and demands durability from their gear.
