I upgraded from Quatrix 6 and glad I did. The high and low tide data on the watch face is great. Also longer battery life

First time Garmin watch owner leap of faith.

I bought the watch a few weeks ago not ever having a Garmin watch. So far I like it. there
There is learning curve for someone who is new to Garmin watch, but overall I am liking it. I have not tried to sync it to my Garmin Chart Plotter yet, but have marked a few fishing spots on it and use the map function. I would say its a back-up to your other electronics on your boat if your going offshore as a last resort to your compass.

Best gift EVER!

I received this watch as a Father’s Day gift and it has exceeded my expectations in every possible way. The battery life is amazing in addition to all of the features. I was a little afraid I wouldn’t adjust to the large size but it’s so comfortable I don’t even feel it on my wrist. I find myself using it in every aspect of my life!!! The metrics are accurate and provide a great source of inspiration and motivation. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND IT!!!

Great Marine features and battery life

The positives are the marine features really are tailored to boaters and easily accessed. The smartphone integration could be better to support like Pandora and Maps

I bought the watch with several reasons in mind. First for fitness the watch gives a complete health bio. and Im a boater and just getting to learn all the many options that the quatix 7 can support.

Great so far

Only complaint is that the heart rate monitor tracks half of the time. Tried tightening and loosening watch on the wrist, cleaning the sensor to no avail. Overall great watch for being on the water as i am most often and primary reason i made the purchase.
