Exactly what I've been looking for to replace the one that died. Carried that one all over the world and cried when it finally died after 20 years. Don't really use the backpack part, although the straps are handy to buckle it to another suitcase. Capacity is much better than those "under seat" suitcases that hold next to nothing and that you can't get into without laying it down to get something inside. I've travelled a whole week with just this one bag, and I bring a LOT of stuff. Thank you, thank you for making this bag. I have been seriously ooking for a replacement bag for over a year, and it was an article in Wall Street Journal that said this was one of the four best bags.

After a trip where we were on planes, buses and trains, we decided to ditch the hard sided carry on and go with these smaller, wheeled type bags. They will fit in the spaces and can be a backpack for when we would do a hike. My only suggestion would be to have an inside pocket for things like passports.
