I just got this backpack as a gift to help with carrying my music equipment. It is a nice oversize backpack that is very light and easy to use with many pockets and storage areas. It also comes with luggage glass wheels for easy, rolling, and a nice aluminum arm, it can also be used as a backpack. This will help me carry my gear around by rolling it instead of lifting.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Doesn't hold up to rough use

My child has to carry a very full backpack all day from class to class. Six weeks into the school year, both of the plastic feet have fallen off, the backpack won't sit up straight, and the bottom is getting ripped up and torn from not having feet. We expected a more durable backpack for the price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was looking for a small compact back pack bag w wheels to travel to Thailand and I must share that I’m glad I went with the High Sierra purchase . It’s a very reliable and durable bag for travel and it made my travels through the airports a breeze because of the wheels and how light the bag was .

It’s heavier than I expected. It’s smaller than expected. I like having wheels to pull it through the airport, but there’s a process to unhook the shoulder straps before using wheels. There’s not a strap to hook it to a bigger bag, so it’s awkward.

I am going on a trip which has some camping and some hotels with no stairs, so I wanted a very flexible bag - rolling and backpack. The trip is almost a month long, so I need a reasonable amount of packing space. I also have some temperature changes so I will need a few bulk items. This 40L bag is too small for my needs. It seems to be fine for a 1-week trip.

My son just got the backpack so can’t say if it’s good or not. But my thought is aren’t you supposed to have the back to school sale before the school year starts and not after when everyone bought the backpacks already? I just bought the backpack at a higher price a week before and now since school already started, it’s on sale for 40% off. Very off putting. Probably won’t buy again for back to school anymore since marketing is bad.
