Sounds good, mics not so much

Purchased H100 headsets for my kids. Sound quality is decent for the price, but the microphone on one set worked for only 3 month and then the other failed a month after. After troubleshooting the mic settings on our laptops, chromebooks, we determined it was H100 mics. Unable to find any fix or support from Lenovo and contacting presents its own challenges. One set failing is frustrating, but two is unacceptable!
