I like the idea that a video cam can follow someone. Allowing the camera to save a facial feature is a great feature. The first time I used the camera, it was as advertised until I tried to playback the video. I see the file, I can play it, but no video .... only audio.
I called user support, this is another story, and was able to speak to someone after numerous call and redirection. I ended up calling the main Canon office and have them transfer me to user support. This part was frustrating.
When I finally connected to a person. I explained the situation. He tried to replicate the problem but his phone is Android. He said to give him time so he can consult with his colleagues. After a couple of weeks of no progress or solution, I called again and fortunately was able to communicate with the original support person I spoke with during my first call. He did follow up on what he said because, he too was stumped by the problem. In the end, Canon support found that the Tracking PTZ camera software was not compatible with the latest iphone IOS. I asked when this will be fixed and no date was provided. The work around was for me to save the file on my phone and then play the video back on my phone. You cannot use the Canon App to play and review the video.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The PowerShot PICK Active Tracking PTZ Camera is great to use at any event or function. I specifically love to use it at birthday parties and sporting events. It's so small, compact, and lightweight. You can place it anywhere and it will capture everything for you when you're focused on entertaining or paying attention. I use it at my daughters volleyball games to capture amazing shots. The app is also very user friendly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This camera is very cool! I set this up when we had family over and it really picked up on peoples expressions in order to record. It was easy to set up, charge, and retrieve the photos. It’s perfect! I’m overall very happy with the camera.

It’s nice to be able to have a stable camera that can get us all in one shot and take a great picture. Definitely recommend this product for the people who don’t want to take selfies anymore :)

I love this camera… and you can use it as a webcam. My presentations have been amazing considering the tracking skills of this camera. The clarity and ease of use is amazing and makes this a must have!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very powerful camera from Canon. Small in size yet packed with features. The biggest selling point is active tracking and it works very well. You will never miss being part of any special moment anymore. Just set the camera on a tripod (not included) and let it roll. The camera tracks movements and is able to recognize faces. The package includes a memory card and USB-C charging wire and adapter. Download PTZ camera app from Google store itself. The barcode on the instruction sheet takes you to a Chinese version of website. Would have been nice if a tripod was included. Good buy.

I love being able to control it remotely with my phone. And the zoom in and out feature is incredible!! The fact that it’s so small and so easy to use is a definite bonus!!!
