Great then Hinge broke

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very happy with my Z-flip 4 until the hinge broke after 6 months of use.
The folding feature did make it easier to fit the phone into pockets. I used the back screen when folded more often than I thought. I set it up as was a way to avoid distraction while knowing I could see important calls or messages. I most often answered my phone while it was closed. I either continued the call on speaker (only closed option) or opened the phone for typical use. The last thing I liked about the fold feature was protecting my screen when it was not in use. No more worrying if the were keys in the pocket or bag.
No- you don't notice the line in the middle of the screen during regular use or streaming. You can see in when it he screen is not lit.
Once my phones hinge broke from twisting in my pocket, it would no longer fold flat. It still worked.

The Z flip 4 user experience was similar to that of galaxy S series phone once the phone was opened.

Nice Phone but issues with fold

This is a very nice phone. The convenience of folding the phone and being able to carry it in your pocket is the best. But the flip design is not ready for Prime Time. Read reviews and blogs. With a large number of the Flip 3's and hopefully to a lesser amount of the Flip 4's, the screen protectors and even the screens have had to be repaired and replaced. The screen protector breaks away from the phone at the fold crease. And for some reason the screen fails and also has to be replaced. Also the phone battery life and camera specs are less than the S Models. Bottom line nice looking phone and has the convenience of a folding phone is great. But best advice is to read reviews and do research before purchasing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Minimally noticeable crease; began separating @ 6m

I. Love. This. Phone. The reason I'm only giving it 3 stars is because I've only had it for 6 months and the screen is bubbling at the crease. Had the same problem with the 3 and by the time the 4 came out, it took up 1/3 of the screen.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The phone has great camera quality
