Beware of Flip Z

I have been a loyal Samsung user since 2018, but after this recent incident, I swear never to buy their fancy phone again. Last August, I purchased the Flip Z gen 4, but I had to send it for repair last week due to bubbles forming inside the screen where the phone flips, accompanied by a cracking noise. What's more frustrating is that there is no local service center, so I had to send my phone all the way to Texas.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Battery dies too fast ...slow on downloads. Not very good overall but like the flip part of it.

The idea of this phone is great but the screen protector will require replacement every year, like clockwork. Samsung and your provider will both charge you, so factor in 100-250 every year on top of initial investment. The phone is great besides this screen flaw...expect to come out of pocket or hand your phone over for 5-7 days for Samsung to replace it for free (nice offer just not realistic). I wish I would have picked another model.

Bought in February. Screen blacked despite not being dropped or wet. Samsung won't fox it unless i pay half the cost of the phone itself. This phone is garbage and samsung is no good. Never again

I bought this in April and it has been my biggest regret. I love Samsung but this is a terrible phone. Screen is super soft. Had to replace through my insurance after one week. The middle is starting to have a ugly crease. I will be switching phones as soon as I pay another deductible to replace then trade in. Not worth the trouble.

This is the absolute worst phone i have ever had. I got two for Christmas, and they have been replaced twice each in six months.

This is the worst phone! 2 month after purchase, the pixels started blacking out. Spot grew larger by the hour. Eventually, half the phone was black. Could not do anything with the phone since the blacked out area would not respond. Samsung replaced the screen. Their service was great. Three to four month later the screen is failing again. I have been careful not to fold the phone, only doing it occasionally. Kept it in a case. Doing what I could to maintain the integrity of the screen. It failed! Line starting to form along the fold. Bottom half of the screen is flickering and flashes green lines.

The easiest way to keep it looking new is to regularly clean it. Cleaning your foldable phone is simple and not that different from cleaning any other Galaxy phone. However, you will want to be careful about cleaning the phone's hinge. If it becomes dusty or dirty, make sure you clean it gently with a soft, dry cloth to avoid damaging your phone. Your Galaxy foldable phone comes with a specially designed screen protector preinstalled on the main screen.
