The battery does drain a bit fast while playing these games on. But, overall it's a great laptop worth considering and purchasing.

Stuck pixel 1-2 days after opening with no use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I thought I was really going to like this laptop. It has a nice design and powerful components, all at a reasonable price. However, after only owning the laptop for a day or two, I opened it to find that the screen already had a stuck pixel (displays red at all times on darker backgrounds) and I have no clue what might have caused it as I had not even used the laptop over that period besides to set up my standard set of applications. Even after attempting many fixes to "unstick" the pixel, it still remains stuck.
Without this issue, I likely would have given the laptop 4 stars, but having things start to malfunction after only owning the laptop for a couple of days makes me worry that the laptop may not last as long as I had hoped.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
