Screen background ocassionally goes to Magenta...

Screen background ocassionally goes to Magenta and I resolve this by 'switch off/switch on' procedure. This was a fault on my HP 24" monitor but it should not happen on a new monitor costing this much.Perhaps a HP customer advisor could contact me about this ?
If the problem persists I shall be returning the monitor and requesting a refund.

The monitor is a statement piece which looks far more expensive than it actually is, excellent screen resolution, stays cool whilst looking cool, puts a great many competitors to shame .

I purchased this monitor as I needed a ** screen to be attached to my laptop. This monitor not only does it's job, I have been able to work all day without my eyes feeling tired or dry which it has been doing with the laptop screen.
In my opinion, this was a really good buy & I cannot fault it.
