I bought this and have been using it for a few days. Definitely better at ventilating more than my previous setup. Pretty quite but seems to be good with heavy cooking.

This is a beautiful rang hood but the filter ports are way too restrictive. I would not recommend this for any kitchen that’s going to see a lot of stir frying. The rating is 800 FFL at high but it barely does the job for a 48inch range hood. It looks like it’s up for the task but it’s not.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent Range hood

I bought this for my outdoor kitchen and it is fabulous. It's mounted above my gas grill and it removes all fumes. It looks fantastic.
