The screen is very vivid and the fingerprint sensor works like a charm even when my finger is sweaty, it’s able to detect my fingerprint with ease. Runs great, able to run Adobe Premiere and Illustrator at the same time without compromising performance. It does get a little hot when running heavier programs but the computer does not slow down. Overall great laptop.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was debating on building a new desktop but decided on a laptop instead after running the numbers. I wanted an i7, 15-16", 2k resolution, 16 gb ram, and under $1000. Wasn't looking for a touchscreen, but this one came with it. I really liked the LG Gram, but it was quite a bit more expensive. While the LG Gram is super light, I really don't mind the extra weight of this Yoga i7 since it just sits on a desk or counter most the time. The value is really what led me to the Yoga i7. These same specs are typically $200-$400 more with other manufacturers. I have been very pleased with the performance and features, and my wife really likes the touchscreen. The touch pad works really well, and I like having the 10 key. The keyboard is a little cramped because of that 10 key section, but I got used to it fairly quickly. My wife has small hands, and it suits her well. The 16:10 aspect ratio is great, and I wish we had more monitors that size. I have always preferred a glossy finish, so that doesn't bother me. The rounded edges on the laptop feel great on the hands, and the build quality overall is extremely solid. I would definitely recommend this laptop as a desktop replacement and with occasional travel. Because of the 16" size, I would probably say it's not that well suited for consistent travel, and I would recommend the 14" in that regard. Great laptop for the price. No regrets.
