[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very well-rounded laptop. Some context: I'm a casual user that primarily uses this laptop for web browsing, office apps, software development, and some casual games (not tested on the high-end-requirement games) with portability in mind so I can share with family.
I wanted the 16" display so resolutions higher than 1080p are not too tiny and of course it looks aesthetically pleasing when viewing videos. The display is very sharp and great colors.
The flex of the Yoga 7i is nice to have, from "tent mode" to full "tablet mode". When using it as a tablet, the physical keyboard does disable and the software keyboard displays so you don't have to worry about that. you can scroll with your finger too and left click with a single tap or right click with two finger tap.
The one minor problem I run into is when using it like a tablet, the power button can easily be pressed when converting it into a tablet and it turns off the screen accidentally. However, it's something small to keep in mind where that power button is.
Another concern for future use is only 16 GB RAM maximum. Turning on the laptop with default programs already takes a little over 8 GB RAM so not sure if there will be a pinch in years to come with future software. However, as it stands now, it is very performant and fast for being portable and it's able to handle the casual games I use it for so I'm happy with it.
