Firstly, the laptop is pretty solid and very competitive features and on paper performance for price. The chassis is quite stiff, and the build quality is good.
It runs a little hot, but that's okay, and the power button is too easy to push in tablet mode, and palm rejection doesn't work so the trackpad can be annoying.
But the Achilles heel of this unit is the A370M which is currently in December of 2022 absolutely a mess. It is responsible for almost all the crashes on this machine and the drivers are unbelievably bad. Intel release usably stable drivers maybe 1-in-4 releases and the current Lenovo supported drivers while stable make the ARC GPU basically no better than integrated graphics.
This isn't lenovo's fault And it's well documented (see LTT), but Intel is still very much guinea pigging customers, and the ARC graphics are a compelling feature that just fails to deliver .
If the driver issue weren't so well documented, I would have returned this laptop because I thought it was a lemon .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Yoga 7i 16 with ARC Graphics has great specs right out of the box. The build quality is solid and tough. If you desire a numeric keypad, get this machine as most 15.6/16” Laptops have deleted it! The screen resolution and brightness is superior to the other two popular brands and it’s standard, no $50-$100 upgrade to get a better display. Plus the cost of the extended warranty and the World Class Support you get from Lenovo is way more valuable than the competition. Lenovo’s policies and support have me hooked on this brand as my go to for work or personal computing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the laptop. It feels like it is built with good quality materials. It is a little too heavy to be easily used as a tablet.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As far as aesthetics are concerned, the laptop is extremely sleek, but with one downfall that it easily attracts fingerprints on the body of the laptop, making it difficult to clean without a wet wipe & wary to use it with bare hands. Also, one the main reasons I bought this was the long battery life touted by Lenovo, which so far (~2mo), hasn't been the case as the battery seems to drain pretty fast, even though I removed all the unnecessary apps & stopped most of them to work at startup. Apart from that, the 2-in-1 feature is really worth it, especially in the tent mode. Due to the glossy display, you surely have to increase the brightness to reduce glares to a certain point, especially if you are near a light source, but the HDR display is very crisp & clear. The sound is amazing as well as while at home, I haven't yet increased the volume more than 24 while watching videos. All in all, it will be a great deal, if I can get the battery issue resolved.
