[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, so coming from W7 to W11 was a challenge. Lenovo startup was quite helpful. I am a veteran of 35 yrs in sys pgmg, so l expected to be able to adapt. The device offered no unexpected snags. This was both an MS and Lenovo effect. Spouse has a W10 Yoga working well, she has no time for tech research. Her satisfaction drew me to Lenovo along w the IBM history. Bottom line, I am a happy camper. An 11 yr OS gap has been accomplished.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice laptop. It is slim and weighs under 4 pounds. It was easy to transfer files from my old computer with the Lenovo transfer program. The sound and screen are great.
The computer works beautifully. What really captured me about it was it’s ability to fold into both a propped up mode and a tablet mode. Though it is a little heavy to use as a tablet I think that goes with any laptop that can do it. Being able to customize what you can before buying it was great to because you have the option of saving money on things you may not need and you can cater it to what you need it for. On top of that the laptop is very fast, it has a fairly decent battery life and it’s never overheated on me (yet). Some personal preferences that I got with the laptop were a mouse, cause mousepad are kinda uncomfortable, and the pen cause if you’re gonna use this for art then you might as well. Also you’ll be spending extra anyways if you buy say a tablet, just not as much if you were to buy a pen, and it’d be pretty redundant since this thing is touch screen and supports pen use. The laptop supports all your adobe apps wonderfully and the store has fair amount of apps to add to your laptop. I got Game pass with it too so that’s also a plus, game and art.
The actual laptop is great…I think. I haven’t actually gotten to play with it much. The second day I had it I tried opening Excel (pre-loaded) and it wouldn’t open. I went to settings on the laptop and that wouldn’t open either. I tried repairing both and ended up having to reload Windows 11 completely. It’s working now but shouldn’t have to do that with a new PC.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good machine at a good promotional price, no issues and the i5 processor is plenty sufficient for multiple programs working simultaneously.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent, Except for the Screen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've spent a couple days with this laptop, comparing it to my 3-year old HP Envy x360 (with a 10th-Gen Intel i7 and 15" 4K OLED screen) that the Yoga was intended to replace. The Yoga's build quality and performance is superior in every way... it's stunning looking and solid feeling with the all-metal construction and rounded edges (I got the storm gray color and love it!), excellent feel and layout to the keyboard and trackpad, fast performance for with the Intel 12th-Gen i7 and Arc GPU, decent offering of ports with USB C charging, and surprisingly amazing sound for a laptop with the 4-speakers and Dolby Atmos. Unfortunately, all that is overshadowed by the mediocre IPS screen which looks TERRIBLE sitting side-by-side with the HP's 4K OLED: colors are much less vibrant, the white point much too warm, the viewing angle before distortion and wash out is disappointing, and text is NOTICABLY fuzzy compared to the HP's crisp 4K OLED no matter what angle your looking at it. Lenovo really did this laptop a disservice by not offering a 4K OLED option for the screen and going with this sub-par IPS. It's such a downgrade from the HP's screen that I've chosen to send the Yoga back and live with the slower HP for another year, until hopefully Lenovo offers a 16" 4K OLED option for the Yoga 7i. I really can't wait to purchase this laptop again, with a better screen. There should really be a 2T SSD option from the factory, too. Hope you're listening, Lenovo!!

This laptop is well built. It's solid and looks great too. It has all the features I wanted, including a back light keyboard. I been a IT Support Specialist for the past 24 years and worked many brand laptops and Lenovo is one of my favorites. My wife purchased the same laptop as I did resently. I highly recommend the Yoga 7i with Arc or Intel Iris graphics.
Update 3-20-23 I ended up returning the laptop for one reason. I realized I needed a higher resolution display. I was not happy with the FHD display. Its still a nice laptop,
It's been 30 days since I returned the laptop and I so far I have NOT received a REFUND.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, I love this computer. I love the feel of the keyboard, the touch screen is wonderful and I like the versatility. My only problems have to do with Windows, so I don't think you should hold that against the computer manufacturer. I bought this computer for the touch screen, the tablet/computer feature is a plus. I liked this laptop so much, my sister bought the same one!
