Good design, bad quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] bought about a year ago. good design, I especially like that it can be folded up and used as a tablet although I don't use it that often, often as a tent when in the kitchen to watch videos. If you travel a lot then this is what you need. I don't like how hot it is. in the same place sometimes the temperature is above 140 degrees, it is not possible to touch. for this reason, one bolt fell out and now the whole body creaks. at first sight the quality is not bad but it is only at first sight. I'm surprised that lenovo makes such mistakes.

poor experience-camera issue and heating issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this laptop Lenovo Yoga 7i 16" 2022 from the official website in the USA, but now i have moved to INDIA.
The webcam Quality is a very poor camera, it has the worst camera I have seen so far on any laptop, even after sitting in front of the laptop I can't even recognize face - images captured from the camera app.
and in normal laptop usage 2-3 chrome tabs only, the laptop backside gets too heated, and beside the fan - heatsink pipe gets extremely hot(even in power saving mode),
my previous laptop was also Lenovo(2016 model) but i had a great experience with it,
but now I am upgrading to the premium series, I am having a poor experience with it.
In normal usage at a room temperature of 40 degrees Celsius, the laptop battery gets heated to 45 degrees celsius-in normal usage in battery saving mode (shown in the Lenovo vantage app)
My laptop is still under warranty- Lenovo please help me, solve this issue.

Absolutely a work of art that can power through

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this laptop a month ago and it is the nicest laptop I have ever owned. It is fast, very responsive, and has a sturdy build quality. You can tell the difference immediately from cheaper computers made with plastic bodies. The screen is brilliant and vibrant. Even with all the upgrades possible purchased it was not overly expensive and priced competitively. Couldn’t be happier!

NOW MORE THAN DISAPPOINTED

UPDATE - I originally wrote a review on 6 February about my Yoga 7i 16" which I had had for just six weeks. It died and would not accept a charge. I sent it back to them on 7 February and got it back on 17 February. Guess what? It was worse than when I sent it back. I could not turn on the computer without putting in a PIN but as I could not open the computer how am I supposed to turn it on? When I eventually got it on it would not let me change the sign-in option. NONE of the "F" keys would work as expected, depending on what F key you pressed it would do any of the following: open Office Premium Creative Content or open a Google Chrome Help page or open a search box or open the Search and Replace window or put a number of black squares with letters in the middle across the top of the page or open the grammar/spell checker or it highlights all the words you have typed and it is a little difficult to unhighlight them or opens a window showing all the HTML coding, etc. etc. There were lots more stupid things the F keys would do but I won't bore you with them. ESC key light will not turn off. The screen will go dull and then go bright again as nauseum all the time you are using the computer. It will not let me print anything, and so on. It is eight weeks old and it feels as if it has spent more time in Lenovo's workshop than in my home! WHAT A COMPLETE WASTE OF HARD-EARNED MONEY.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

One of the best I have bought in a while

I bought this a month ago and it took a while to ship, but it's alright as the performance was very good. My laptop's specs are i5 12500h processor, intel arc a370m, 512 gb, 16gb lpddr5, and artic grey aluminum chassis. The graphics card in my opinion is better than the nvidia rtx 3050, it outperformed it in blender and adobe photoshop, but not in gaming as it beat it by a slight margin of fps. The cpu in this model is really good it stays cool when I want it to and it only gets hotter when I am using it in high performance. The artic grey aluminum chassis is awesome it has a really nice premium look and it's very solid. The ram on this model is also good it's much faster than my older ddr4 ram. My only complaint is that one of the hinges are twisted, I have seen this in many models so it may be common. Overall probably one of the best buys of 2022
