I would purchase a bag of flour, place it in my cabinet...kerplunk... and flour dust would get all over everything. Then the OXO Good Grips POP Container - Big Square Medium (4.4 Qt) came into my life...problem solved. Not only does this air tight, dish washer safe wonder hold a whole 5 lbs bag of flour, but it looks beautiful doing it! The airtight seal is easily engaged by clicking the push button down. Push it up, it doubles as a handle. My flour stays fresh! The design is brilliant, offering a sturdy, very useful product! I have another POP container for brown sugar and together they stack up perfectly, improving upon my cabinet storage, opening up more space! My favorite part is the scoop accessory that attaches to the underside of the lid. A durable scoop, combined with a perfect sized opening makes it so easy to scoop out measured amounts for recipes. Loving OXO POP containers! I will be buying more sizes to produce more cabinet space, keep my other go to baking ingredients fresh and to have a beautiful looking organized pantry! One suggestion I have for OXO. There have been several flour recalls recently. When you throw away the flour bag, you lose the information of the "best used by date" and UPC/lot codes. It would be great to add something like a dry erase/chalk option or removable adhesives so you can write that information somewhere on the container. P.S You can use this container for a lot of other things besides flour, but I use it for flour!

Excellent storage containers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that these containers come with so many little extras - a ceramic circle to keep brown sugar soft for longer and two small scoops. The small, taller container works really well for storing cinnamon sticks, which is handy as I don't use them all the time. The smaller containers work great for the large quantities of spices I've had laying around in my cupboards, while the large containers work so wonderfully for storing those huge bags of flour and even bags of cereal can be poured into the containers for easier viewing and access!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to switch my storage containers to something prettier and more functional. This set comes with some larger storage containers and smaller storage containers, but what I REALLY love is that they are all square so there isn't ANY wasted space in my cupboards. The OXO POP containers are seelable, which means my food wont go back any time soon, and they are sleek and shiny, which makes them make my messy making mess a little prettier. The smaller containers can be stacked and the larger containers aren't too tall to sit inside my cupboards (a problem I have had with many storage containers!) They are nice enough to sit on my counters for storage if I want them to. They also come with their own scoops, which means that I wont forget my measuring cups inside the container, as I often do. As for the brown sugar saver, I can't tell you how much a bread end grosses me out in my brown sugar, the saver does just as much good, and it can be washed if I want.
