Here’s the scoop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the container, seals well and has minimal static for a plastic container. The scoop though is overthought and not very practical. The way the scoop attaches to the lid, although clever, requires a lot of force to remove and can cause involuntarily motion when it comes off. Great way to knock things over, unless you’re working with hot water and ground coffee. The groove on the bottom of the scoop that attaches to the lid packs with coffee requiring you to clean it before attaching it to the lid… this does not lend to the intended convenience of having a scoop handy. The scoop also takes up a lot of space,I would say you can lose about 3/4” of storage space. If I knew better I’d buy the larger container without the scoop,then I could fit a coffee blend in it where this size is a bit too small.

Attractive and Useful Coffee Container

It’s just the right size and shape for my counter. I pick it up every time I make coffee and it’s scaled and sized just right for someone to hold and to measure out ground coffee.

Love these for storing our coffee beans but we soaked overnight with dish soap and now the inside of the container is white and discolored.
