Close, but not a hit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am having mixed thoughts on this so far. The coffee has been fabulous, so good that I have kept using it when otherwise I probably would have returned it. The problem is that the device leaks. We have tried everything to get the seal to seal completely but we haven’t been able to get it work. So it sits on a small saucer while it brews & we pour it in the jar at the end. Also, the lines marking when the top and bottom are aligned are off by a good quarter of an inch or more. The parts are visible loose when the marks are aligned.

Carafe difficult to handle

I truly love this coffee maker, but I always worry about dropping the carafe. I find it rather hard to handle carefully and would love for it to have a handle

Mold will grow on the stopper

Worth it

Uses a lot of coffee for 4 -16oz glasses of cold brew. We reuse the grounds to make a weaker second batch that makes 2 more drinks. Much cheaper than store bought cold brew concentrate and more delicious.
