Good not great

I wanted to love this because I’m a big iced coffee drinker, but it just missed the mark for me. I still gave it 4 stars because the function is exactly what is advertised. You fill the top with coffee grounds and water, and it trickles into the carafe overnight. You end up with a super strong cold brew concentrate which wasn’t clear to me when I purchased it and it uses a lot of grounds. Doesn’t save me as much $ as I had hoped.

My only quibble is that when I store the glass container in the refrigerator, it gets slippery. I almost dropped it. I put a rubber band around it and that helped a lot. Very easy to use and to clean. Are replacement carafes available?

Easy to Use

This makes excellent cold brew coffee and it’s easy to us. There are minimal pieces to clean. It does take a lot of coffee to make the cold brew, but it’s a concentrate so it balances out. I also like that I can make decaf since most coffee places don’t offer decaf cold brew. I recommend this maker if you enjoy the less acidic cold brew coffees.

Good brew, but leaks all over my counter

The compact cold brew maker makes a very nice concentrate for cold brew coffee and I love its size of it. In fact, it is perfect except for the fact that every time I brew a fresh batch (a couple of times a week) it leaks all over my counter. I have made sure it is clean, do not overfill it with grounds or water, assembled it correctly, and tighten it as instructed, yet still, nothing works. The machine is only a couple months old and taken care of so I am disappointed with the problems I have.

Almost there

This certainly makes a great batch of cold brew and OXO makes it "dummy proof". My only issues with this are surrounding the glass carafe. There is no pour spout so every time I pour the cold brew, it dribbles down the side and I have to wipe the glass and whatever else gets wet. You also cannot purchase an extra glass which creates a minor inconvenience.

Wonderfully straightforward little coffee maker — appreciate the small footprint for the fridge and the carafe is durable and beautiful. Glad I finally took the cold brew plunge!
