I guess it technically works as described. I'll probably never use it though because it's only somewhat effective on 3-4" of light, unpacked snow and only on very smooth surfaces. The 10" width means a lot of passes, but that wasn't unexpected. Just annoying in actual use.

I ordered 2, one for my son, for Christmas, and one for myself, since the price was so reasonable. I gave my son his shovel early because we were expecting 6"+ of snow before Christmas, and we got it. I used mine to work my way from the front door to my "real" snow thrower, and I was AMAZED at the power and throwing distance of this cordless shovel - no exaggeration! My son lives 18 miles north of us and got 2" - 3" more snow than us and HE was amazed as well. I'm do not normally leave reviews, but this product is SO MUCH BETTER THAN I EXPECTED, I had to share. If I didn't have a brand new Cub Cadet snow thrower I'd order the big Snow Joe thrower, I have absolute confidence in their products - worth every penny.

This is the second time I have used this and could not be more pleased. We are currently under blizzard conditions in Iowa and granted I have been going out every hour to shovel to stay ahead of the snow but this thing just plows through the snow. I am 61 and have a bad back and this has been a life saver!!!!! Well worth every penny and more.

I have severe bring and standing issues. I love this little gadget. It works! Don't expect it to move mountains all at once but it will if you shave it down. I worked on a little drift taller then the Snow joe, I just started at the side and only did 3-4 inches at a time. No problem. I would be out using it if I didn't need to catch my breath. I wish I could have gotten a larger one but its better then nothing. Ive been raving to everyone. I know of 2 people who went to but it & it was sold out. I'd even recommend the Sun Joe combo set trimmer, weedwacker, chainsaw as well. I hope they come out with something to move equipment around easier around the yard. I hope the Snow Joe lasts awhile. I really like it.

We had about 6” of snow recently and I was excited to use the cordless snow shovel. It pushed the snow like a regular snow shovel, but very little was blown out. Winter has just started, so we’ll see what happens.

This snow blower shovel is the most amazing thing I have ever seen. I am 63 and have had rotary cuff surgery so my arms aren't what they used to be. I was feeling like I was going to have to hire someone to come shovel for me and I did not want to do that. Then I bought this and it is the most amazing tool I have ever owned it shovels the snow right down to the cement very easy to put together and very easy to use. It is a must-have and every household

This little blower is awesome for decks and walkways. It does struggle a bit in heavy deep snow but that was somewhat expected. I was able to clear a 60 X 12 deck on one charge of the battery ( 3" fluffy snow ). I was pleasantly surprised at how well it throws snow. My only suggestion to Snow Joe is to put some directional baffles at the top that can be manipulated manually so snow can be thrown on an angle. All in all a great product that I would recommend.
