Excellent Packaging, Old School Design

I really like the packaging and shipping prep on your ranges. They are virtually immune to shipping damage. I also was looking for old school gas controls on the oven, which work very well. The temperatures regulated accurately as delivered.

Pleased with new purchase

After searching for a low tech, high output gas range, I found Forno. Reading reviews I took my chances as I'd never seen one in person. I was able to adjust two burners for lower flame to suit my cooking style and have played with the oven. No problems. Hoping for a long and happy relationship!

FFSGS6276 - 30 Stove
on November 19, 2023

The propane conversion on the stove presented some problems. The gas injector/ports were very tight, but removable. The center burner requires a small 7mm wrench to change the two ports which were a challenge with big fingers and hands to install the two LG injectors.
The broil gas air inlet requires adjustment, but with the anchor screw recessed past the surface of the back plate took a flexible nut driver extension to lossen the set screw and set the air inlet to the correct dimension. The oven gas air inlet also required adjustment, but the screw was more accessible.
The instruction manual is readable and detailed.

Horrible service / Broken temp gauge, off 100degre

You can’t speak to anybody on the phone and you have to do everything by email. Nobody answers your email. They just continue to send automated emails telling you that you need to do something else. The top burners of the stove work great however the temperature gauge on my oven was shipped to me broken. At rest it’s at 150°. When I turn on the oven there’s 100° temperature difference between what the knob and the stove says and what the temperature gauge says. In order for me to cook my food at 375°, I have to put the knob somewhere just shy of 300°. Then the roller coaster ride begins. It still goes up to almost 400° and you have to open and close the door to let the heat out when you’re making constant adjustments to try and control the temperature. I wish I would’ve read this before I purchased it. This seems to be a common theme with the stove. From what I can gather, there is no cure for this. They pretty much tell you to just deal with it. Oh, and the oven will just cut out for no apparent reason while you’re cooking or if you open and close the door too much while your trying to adjust the temp you can put it out that way. So now the gas is on with no flame. Explosion much. Look, If this is An inherent problem with this particular stove then credit me what I paid for the stove and apply it towards one of your better stoves that doesn’t have this problem, and I will pay the difference and sing you the praises that you deserve. But right now, this is what you deserve. And that’s sad because I had high hopes for you and You have most definitely not lived up to the hype. I’m a disabled vet On a fixed income, that saved my money to buy something nice for my wife because she likes to cook and apart from looking like a professional stove. It is everything and anything but very disappointing.

Be Wary

The gas range looks great and the burners have a high max output, but those are the only good things about this gas range. The worst (and most dangerous) part is that the oven flame can blow out once it reaches the desired temperature just by opening and closing the oven door, which leads to the range free flowing gas that you can smell after a minute or so. This is extremely dangerous and we have to close the door extremely slow just so it doesn't blow out. Also, the stove burners are far from great because the minimum setting for the four corner burners is still very high so you can only use the center burner to simmer.
The burners do have a nice high output which is nice when cooking food that needs it, but it would've been nice if more than one burner can be used to simmer.

We have only had our oven for 2 1/2 months and are having to get it fixed. We will see how smooth the process is but should not already have to do this.

Loving it so far

Make sure you read the full manual for installation and setup before use. This isn't your out of the box cookie cutter stove. Well worth the initial effort for proper operation. Glad we pulled the trigger and got this.

Great fast service

We were a little skeptical about buying this gas range due to the reviews on the burners and oven burner we have used it several times and had no issues whatsoever. The burners will go all the way low if you want them to and the oven has not went out one time. One of the best ranges we have ever owned and would definitely buy another so people pay no attention to the bad reviews
