Beautiful Appliance

Our stove was installed a week ago, today we attempted to air fry chicken wings. While the unit was pre heating, something just popped, the oven began to smoke, an odd smell detected, then it shut off. Will not attempt to use until I get in touch with Forno rep.

Oops! Help needed already.

Out of the box this is a great unit. Love the fact it can air fry and the burners are strong. The only problem is the oven. Whatever temperature I set the oven at does not matter. The oven starts up with a nice strong flame and just wont turn off. I set it at 250 degrees last Saturday morning to roast a few chickens. When I came back an hour later the thermometer was way past 550 degrees. I opened the oven and the birds were torched. I am lucky it didnt catch on fire. Calling for service today. Too bad.

Great stove for the price but has its flaws.

Overall quality is impressive with sturdy construction but the unit will require some adjustment upon installation. While the burners are great and put out lots of heat they do not come pre adjusted and you will have to follow the burner adjustment instruction in the installation manual. The use of NPT threads instead of MIP means you will need to look at some extra fitting for the gas hose. Because of this If you don't fell comfortable with doing the adjustments and have knowledge about what fitting you will need professional installation maybe a better choice than doing it your self. They also have a wonderful you-tube channel with instructional videos about the repair and maintenance of their appliances something I have yet to see with any other brand.
Once you do have it installed this range is great the oven controls are nice and simple and easy to use. The oven grates rival the build quality that you find in units more than twice the price of this stove and has a nice even and consistent heat. The cook top grates are solid and spaced further from the burners than other home ranges helping get an even heat for larger pans. These grates while they are heavy are easy to remove and the burner tray has no seams or spots for grim to get trapped in making it extremely easy to clean. The knobs feel wonderful in hand but will get Hot to the touch when using the oven for broil but still usable. The included wok ring is a nice touch as well as the non stick gridle that is one of the best fitting included gridles i have seen with a stove. Overall i am very happy with the stove even with its minor flaw and hope in a year I still feel this way about this stove.
