The light quality is very good but the design is poor. The base is very heavy. It is a large table lamp with a very long arm. This lamp is not designed for a smaller desk area. It is very heavy and awkward to move, and the biggest design flaw to me is that the stand cannot be taken out of the base once it is snapped in place.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best task lamp. I now have this one and the floor one. I can adjust it to whatever angle I need. I can also adjust the type of light (bright, soft, etc) and the level of light. It is so good when working on my crafts. Makes intricate work so easy.

I bought this lamp on sale and it’s high quality. So far I really like it. Really helps with seeing the cut lines on HTV. The sale price made it more affordable. It is a lot larger then I expected it to be but it puts the bright light right over your work. I like that it’s adjustable.
