Awesome range!

I can’t think of anything bad to say about this range. The burners are powerful, the oven heats quickly and bakes evenly, the gliding rack is smooth and convenient. The top is a little tricky to keep clean, but I think that’s just the nature of a gas cooktop. The blue oven interior is beautiful. The knock feature to turn on the oven light and see inside is actually very useful (thought it would be gimmicky).
I guess the only thing I would want is a second gliding rack and the ability to start the oven remotely without having to leave the dial in the remote start position.

Love Big Blue!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a single woman, I had bought myself a new LG electric range that I was crazy for, to update the kitchen in my condo in 2021. That was also the year that I met my husband, won his heart over by sending him home with meals I lovingly prepared on it during our courtship, (he doesn't cook) and we married 5 months later. I moved to his home, where appliances were serviceable, original, but we decided to be practical, replace them as they stopped working. For almost two years, I struggled with the existing relic, dreamed of the LG Studio dual-fuel slide-in range, kept a pic handy for my husband to see, for when the time was right. Luckily, cooking anything in the oven became impossible to gauge, and we finally took the step to purchase. It is everything I wanted, and more! It cooks, bakes, roasts, air-fries to perfection, is beautifully appointed with an exterior style I wanted, easy to clean, smartly designed, and has the blue interior oven, my fave!

Reasonably priced, many features, functions well
on November 22, 2024

The cooktop burners provide a wide range of BTU options, the oven performs well and has many different modes, the touch screen is easy to use, the grates are strong, the role out rack is a helpful feature, and the storage area has a convenient pull out drawer. I would have given 5 stars but the cooktop is difficult to clean because strong cleaners can't be used on the burner parts. Soap and water is the only cleaners that can be used but will not remove cooked-on food. I prefer having parts that can stand up to strong cleaners. Don't let that stop you from buying this range. It is one of the best dual-fuel ranges on the market.

Love range / installation challenging.

Great range works well. Plan for NO Space behind for gas or electrical. None. Plan well, look at back to understand installation requirements. Don't trust web pictures, they are inaccurate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My oven is missing self clean option for the upper oven. When I select the upper oven self clean it coverts to lower oven self clean. The easy clean option is working for the upper oven.

Average Stove

Stove works well after repair. One burner did not light. Tubing to burner was twisted off to the point it sealed the gas out. Overall quality was average, thinner material and self tapping screws. Used for a couple of weeks without issues.

Hi there. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. I'm glad to hear that the stove is working well after the repair, and that one of the burners is now functioning properly.

I'm sorry to hear that the tubing to the burner was twisted off, causing issues with gas flow. I can imagine how frustrating that must have been. Please know that we're taking your feedback seriously, and we'll make sure to pass it along to our engineering team to review and improve our design. Please reach out to us on social media @LGUSSupport so we can help you further. ^Cris

Burns like a charm...if you want things BLACK
on January 5, 2025
Posted by: Baker Mom
If you don't bake then buy this oven. If you do then find something else. We bought this one about 2 weeks before Christmas and the temps were off: Higher than noted above 350 and lower than noted below. It took until after the 1st to get a tech out. He replaced several things and checked the temp, saying it was good to go. The oven BURNS everything! It is not set on convection. My muffins and bread were scorched within 15 minutes of baking. DO NOT BUY this oven!!! I believe it's the "fan" constantly going that pushes the hot air across the top of my baked goods. I did not use convection oven either!!!

Hello there! Thank you for sharing your experience with the LSDS6338F oven. We're very sorry to hear that you've been having issues with the temperature accuracy and baking performance of this unit.
Based on your feedback, it seems the oven may be running hotter than the set temperature, causing your baked goods to scorch within 15 minutes. This could be due to a problem with the oven's temperature sensor or other internal components. *The constant fan operation you mentioned may also be contributing to the uneven heat distribution, leading to the top of your baked goods.

Please send us a private message @LGUSSupport, and our team will be more than happy to further investigate the issue and explore potential solutions with you. We appreciate your patience and look forward to assisting you. -Junel
