Producing little smoke - initially advertised that it came with ability to control smoke not present.

Great little unit keeps temp perfectly have only done 4 cooks on it but so far its awesome Need to make sure you watch the hopper box when doing a long cook

Controller will not connect to wifi or bluetooth. Temp goes up to setting and then indicates that it's holding that temp when in reality it has huge temp swings. Absolutely terrible smoker and will not recommend to anyone. Do not buy!!!

Overall Great Smoker for the money and quality. I do have a few issue with the smoker. First you are limited to the degree setting on the smoker. Grommet on the side of the grill for the grate broke within the first week of the owning the grill. The Lid Hinges are already rusting out on my smoker. I have the Pitt Boss Heavy Duty Grill Cover as well. I've owned the grill for about 6 Months now. I wish Pitt Boss would address the rusting issues with the hinges and poorly designed grommet.

No Smoke Mode

I was under the impression that my PRO 1150 ps3 had the smoke mode in the pid controller. But my controller does not and it make almost no smoke at a temperature of 235 and I am using Pit boss pellets.

Good Smoker EXCEPT

I bought this smoker in November of 23. Cook 7 butts but no smoke! Pit Boss should add this to this unit. If you buy a Treager which I had 3 different models great for smoking meat. Pit Boss is a step behind the Treager Grill. Need to maker available the parts to customers to add this feature to the grill already purchased. And for the models going forward of course make it available so the customers that smoke slot of meat will have an almost perfect grill/smoker.
