I purchased this originally for our 5th wheel trailer. When I tested it out at home 1st, it worked so well and controlled the temperature really good I’m going to leave it by my large smoker for small jobs.
I would recommend this to anyone wanting to smoke meat in smaller areas.

I purchased this 150PPS 3 months ago. I like using it better than my PB Lexington. Stable temps, portable and perfect for camping (provided you have power available).

Excellent portable grill! Awesome fit for our fifth wheel camper! My beautiful wife surprised me with a Pro 1000 this past Christmas and now I can’t imagine grilling or smoking on any thing but my Pit Boss equipment!

Great smoker for a rv or tailgating. Heats up and holds temp good. Coming form a 1100 smoker the tabletop takes a little getting use to on the size. Have to remember not as big of cooking area. Everything we have cooked on it has came out with a good smoke flavor and taste great. Only wish it would of came with a probe.

This seems to be a very good portable smoker. The pellet hopper is a good size and lasts quite a while for a portable. The temps and overall use are accurate and easy. Holds temp well even in windy environment when I was camping last week. The unit is heavy, however being built like a tank kind of lends to heavy.

Well, at this point, it gets a 5. I have done the initial "burn off" and only used it once after that, just for the heck of it and it works as well as my Austin XL. I bought it to go in my RV so I can use it when we are on the road. We are leaving for 3 weeks to Wyoming and Montana. I expect to use it every day while we are gone. If it's anything like the PB Austin XL that I've had for 2 years, I'm sure I'll love it. PB can NOT be beat for the money. Or twice the money.
