This thing is idiot proof ! The first time out I put two whole chickens on it and three hrs later they came out looking like a TV commercial. Love this thing, you can’t go wrong with it.

My trusty, portable grill!

I purchased Luigi, yes I named him, just before Memorial day of this year. He's been a pretty trustworthy grill and I'm seriously considering purchasing a second one as a backup. I use Luigi to compete at SCA Steak Cookoffs and I'll be counting on him when I compete at the World Championship in March of 2022. My friend/teammate has the Lowe's version and Mario, yes that's the name of my friend's grill, has served him will with a few issues (auger broke at a comp) and he has purchased a back up just in case these little workhorses decide to take the day off. I wish it had handles on the sides just because they're bulky to carry around & I'm always afraid I'm going to drop my little buddy when I move him from the vehicle to the table for a competition. I'm super happy with my purchase and would totally buy another when they come back in stock. I've attached pics of Luigi at a competition (you can see his buddy Mario in the background) as well as a picture of the steak that won me a chance to compete at the World's.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I upgraded from my 850 Pro Series Gen 2 to the new Gen 3. Installation and set up was easy! Love the new upgrades and the new controller is awesome! Works well with the new Pit Boss app too! The 5 degree temp increments are game changer from previous smoker! Love the extra room! The warranty is a great peace of mind, can’t beat it!

I bought my 1150 pro series 3 a week ago. It comes with only two probe ports. The temperature can be changed in increments of 5 degrees.

I was gifted this grill (with a little nudging on my part) and it is perfect. I canceled the preassembly because I learn more about it assembling it myself, also, I trust myself.
The app was pretty bad a couple years ago, but has since gotten way better. Temperatures have been perfect for me as well. Originally 225F was lowest, but updates make it able to go a little lower.
The flame broiler is great for 1-2 pieces of meat at a time. Factor that in if you're cooking for a group, they may be grabbing their steaks in succession.
I live in a temperate location and use this year round, even in the snow. It's as easy as turning on the oven, almost feels like cheating.
Cleaning the broiler is a chore, but you don't have to do it often. I make sure to vacuum out the dust and ashes then disassemble and clean/oil everything once every 5-6 months depending on usage.
The smoke penetration is medium. I would say there are 2 other major brands who have better smoke penetration, but neither offer the flame broiler, which makes the most perfect revers sear steak you'll ever have. I also have a black R2D2 shaped smoker that has gotten almost no use since I got this thing.
I 100% recommend this product.

Seemed to go together pretty quickly, I cooked I 16 hour brisket which turned out pretty good, only thing is I had to keep adding to the hopper. But it's a smaller smoker so as expected

Used it for the first time this weekend an tried several different meats all came out good. The grill y easy to assemble and use. Lighting the grill is simple. Only thing that it could use is folding legs which would make it easier to use when you go somewhere.
