I think the strap of armhole should be cut a little (longer). When you pull the garment down in order for it to give support in the back/hip area, it produces to much too much of a pull (tug) on the shoulder. Perhaps it is the fault of my long body?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Comfortable and effective

After reading some of the previous reviews, I bought a size larger than I usually wear and am quite satisfied. I was able to get it on and off fairly easily, yet it offered enough compression/support to be effective. I wore it all day at the office and found it quite comfortable under my slacks and sweater. (If this helps, I am 64 years old, 5'2" tall and overweight.) I plan to buy at least 1 more. It is a little expensive, but I guess you "get what you pay for."

This is the best brace I own for my lower back and hips...I wear one every day & have been able to go to physical therapy and walking again without pain. I love it.

I am in retail and on my feet a good part of the day. I ordered the support tank for myself and two other women that i work with. we all had different concerns. well the results were great. this tank i can't live without. it keeps me straight up and pain free all day. i love it and so do the other girls. just turned another friend on and she too loves it. i only wish it came in a nude color for spring.

I shattered my spine in a diving accident 10 years ago, have been looking for a brace that works for me, definitely found one!! I have a spinal cord stimulator installed in my back, the shirt fits over it and does not put pressure directly on the unit. The relief I get is AMAZING!!! If you have lower back pain I ABSOLUTLY recommend this product!! Best brace/support I've found so far!!! It is a bit pricey & worth every penny!!!!! Will be buying one per month for the rest of my life!

I am 5'9" and 172lbs. I bought this shirt about 2 weeks ago and have been wearing it everyday: I wash it and hang dry every night. The M size fits perfectly and I will be ordering a couple more. I can stand and walk longer than 10 min without low back pain. I also wore it while working out and playing ball and am very happy with the results. My low back pain has drained me emotionally and this shirt has made me smile way more :) Thank you Tommie Copper!
