Not sure how much it

Not sure how much it helps my shoulder pain yet. It would not recharge when we got it. Customer service told me to return product but I would have to pay shipping. So my wife suggested we try a different cord that we had and as it turned out it was the cord that Tommie Copper provided. Tommie Copper didn't even try to provide a solution, they could have sent me a new cord to try first. Wife is also trying and is not sure if it helps her pain. I would rate their customer service as a zero.

Questionable effectiveness

Not the easiest to position. It does get mildly warm but doesn’t seem to be effective in relieving discomfort in shoulder which is most likely due to rotator tear, bursitis, or impingement. Tried it before as well as after exercise
