This is replacing my old 18V set. The battery weight is nice and the charge lasts about as long. The tools have a lot of steel and have a sturdy feel. I wish it came with a second battery so I can continue to work while one is charging. If they are still doing well after awhile I will upgrade my whole set of battery operated tools and buy more batteries, too.

I absolutely love thes 2 drill and the battery life is unbelievable if I'd had known the extremely well built quality of skill products i would have switched from dewalt, kobalt, Milwaukee years ago my only complaint is the torque power for either drill doesn't seem to be as high as my dewalt but still I would recommend both/either of these products to the youngest/eldest adult that would ask

Battery Leaking Package Issue?

Thiis the second power 20 drill I received where the batter has leaked a fluid requiring me to return. It would be better to just receive a replacement battery

The 1/2 inch cordless drill is great! Especially the metal chuck. Anything with good quality and metal where it needs to be is always 100 in my book. IMPACT ON THE OTHER HAND.. idk if it is just me or if in the first power mode it doesn't what it's supposed to. Also just a little preference having the pull the bit insert to lock in place is kind of slow for me.. the craftsman I busted had that quick release where you just pushed and it clicked and locked. Still love every bit of these and the quality is great.

I had to call Skil to learn about it. Enough power for me. Battery has been OK just started using. One would like a second battery but these are not too expensive. You will also want the driver to 1/4 and 3/8 socket adapters.
