This tool is fantastic I used a Dewalt reciprocating saw but this one is waaaaaaayyyy more balanced and shorter, which is extremely handy I use it for removing car parts the fast way battery lasted the whole time we pulled a motor it got in tight spots and I ended up using the handy dandy USB port to charge my phone battery! And man that battery charges fast and it didn't get the battery hot. It also fits nicely in a small portable tool bag. It does comes with a wood blade.....a metal one would be a good idea to include with it. Over all dam great tool!
Man that thing saw right through everything I needed it to plenty of power it was great. Only thing I don't like is I mean another charger and Battery buzzing that nothing's freaking perfect
At first, the size of this saw made me nervous. I typically use recip saws for tough demo work or lopping 4x4 posts in fence/landscape work. I had my doubts as to whether this saw would make it, but I was wrong. The size actually became an advantage as it was super easy to handle through the cuts and the battery kept a solid charge after several. Definitely a useful tool around my house and shop!
I have wanted a "one handed" reciprocating saw for a wile, I've used others before I got the skil and I've gotta say It is genuinely my favorite so far. Its balanced pretty great, feels good in the hand, and has plenty of power to pull the blade through wood, wood with nails, and all the metal I've put under it so far. My corded saw is definitely getting some time off and the 20v batte ry has gotten me over my range anxiety. Especially because it charges quickly
