Had to call to speak with a representative to order. Never received a confirmation email. Shipping took a weak and a half to get from Southern California to Northern California. I tracked package through Arizona, Texas, Louisiana, and Georgia before coming back to California. Once unit was delivered by FedEx inspected shipping carton everything was fine. Read the instructions hook the unit up and it worked for a total of nine hours before not working anymore, just blows warm air you cannot hear the compressor turn on anymore. For the money spent not receiving a confirmation email and dealing with the shipping nightmare I would never ever again buy another product from this company. Checked drain hose no water in system. Will be calling customer service Monday morning.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This Portable AC Unit Is Amazing!

This unit works very well. We have been using it for a couple of weeks now and couldn't be happier. It was easy to hook up and connect to our window. This unit has three fan speeds as well as an oscillating fan function.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love the efficiency AND the features of this model!

This model (NAC14KWHD3) is perfect for that bedroom in the house that is furthest from the furnace/central AC, and so it always extra HOT in the summer and extra COLD in the winter. Setup was super simple (although I must admit that I was stumped for a few minutes about how the window kit assembly actually was supposed to work - I think the instructions on that could be improved). That aside, this unit cools my 12' x 14' guest bedroom extremely quickly, and I'm sure it would be suitable for a room nearly twice that size. Even with the fan speed only a level 2, it moves enough air to turn my ceiling fan when the ceiling fan is not even running. :) I find that the large temp LEDs on the front face of the unit are super handy for a quick check of the temp setting at-a-glance from a distance, and also functions very nicely as a night-light (and you can turn it off from the remote if you find it too bright at night). Lastly, I like that the exhaust hoses/window-kit take up only a fraction of my natural light coming in from the window, compared to the old window-AC which effectively blocked about 50% of my natural light thru the window making the room seem gloomy. Very satisfied. :)
