NOT Extra Tough or Scratch Resistant - Avoid!

I bought this set because it was recommended from Consumer Reports for its durability and strength, and the website suggested a quality cookware set at a pretty affordable price. Nothing could be further from the truth. After the very first use on a standard electric coil stovetop, the bottoms of the sauce and sauté pans were scorched and scratched in multiple areas. Even with using the silicone spatulas that came with the 16 piece set, the pan suface and rims would scratch and chip. I am also very gentle with cookware--most things in general--so, I was surprised that my delicate manner of using these pans resulted in such an incredible amount of scratching and chipping after just one single use. The food cooked ok, evenly, and the non-stick surfaces worked well. I'm more concerned about the surfaces being damaged by normal use, though. There is something defective with the design. The cheapest pan I've ever owned withstood for years against normal use, multiple moves across the country, and different cooktops. It's mind-boggling to me how such a temperamental cookware set could even be sold as something reliable as this Padova set.

Best Cookware Set EVER

I bought these a month ago and it's literally transformed my cooking habits. Even heating, non-stick, and the easiest pans to clean. As a former professional chef, I give these my highest recommendation to any home cook. For anyone not loving these, I'm convinced you aren't caring for them the way they deserve.

They work until they don’t

The first month was great and then after that they completely lost their now stick properties. We followed their cleaning and cooking instructions to a T and now they are extremely frustrating to cook with. Cooking pancakes on even low heat and you loose half the pancake to the pan. Cleaning even simple scrambled eggs off requires soaking for several days. Our smallest pan started chopping already. For the price we paid for high quality pans this is extremely frustrating. We are going back to standard stainless steel.
The only negative about the pans is you can't tap your cooking utensil on the side of pan because it chips of the ceramic coating. Tapping my wooden spoons/spatulas, etc. on the side of the pan after stirring is a very hard habit to break but I'm trying.
No lids on fry pans. Big deal as you have grease and oil issues.

It doesn't work!

I purchase this set months ago, and just started using one of them a few weeks ago. Although I followed all the instruction for cooking and care, after a few weeks (only a few times of usage per week), the pan sticks like no other frypans I have seen before. The second one I started to use a few days ago sticks less, but I am not hopeful how it would look like in a few weeks. Not buying these again. A pity as I really wanted these to work.

Buy a different brand, not truly non-stick

I purchased this set about a year ago and have thrown away one pan and about to throw out a second one because everything sticks! Soe of the pans more than others. I am unsure if this is a defect or if the non-stick coating wears away quickly the more you use it. I would not buy a green pan again.
The style looks nice and modern. We like the non stick usage. The description stated that it is easy to wash but it’s not true. It also stated that if boil water it should be quick to heat it up but that’s not true either.
