[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The synthetic memory foam ear pads are deep enough to prevent rubbing against the outer ear, What’s more, the padding makes listening comfortable for hours at a time and is moderately comfortable with glasses.
The charging cable that comes with the headphone is way too short, most of my chargers are located under my desk but if you have one close to your computer it does make it relatively easy.
They have Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa and serve as a great option for anyone wanting a fair priced alternative.
All of the controls reside on the lateral edge of the right ear cup. Unfortunately, the playback and volume controls are nearly impossible to find on the first try, Further down is the conjoined noise cancelling/Bluetooth pairing button, neither of which functions I needed.
Battery life is quite good. The headphones provided 18.5 hours of playback with noise cancelling on. While this is 1.5 hours shy of JBL’s listed 20 hours of performance, the fact of the matter is that 18.5 hours is plenty.
Playback controls are small and hardly differentiated from one another.
If you’re wanting to get the best audio quality from the headphones, use the included 3.5mm cable.
One of the more functional features is multipoint connectivity. This allows you to simultaneously connect to two devices and alternate between them. In order to do so, pause media on the primary device and play it on the secondary one.
This bass-heavy pair of headphones is great for the average consumer.
Where passive isolation falls short, active noise cancelling makes up for lessening low-frequency noise.
Isolation is just ok, but when noise cancelling is activated, the outside world fades into the background.
Active noise cancelling is turned on by default.
The headphones may fold flat or upward to become more compact for transport.
If you want great noise cancelling for less, yes. They might not be the clearest sounding headphones, but they are comfortable, portable, and effectively filter out external noise with ANC toggled on. Aside from that, Google Assistant and Alexa integration is a wonderful convenience: having texts read aloud and being able to immediately reply without touching my phone is a joy.
That said, if the poor microphone quality is impossible to overlook, They’re lightweight, easy to operate, and have a significantly better microphone.
I would recommend this to a friend!

These are the worst Bluetooth headphones I've owned. Not only are they Hard as a rock on the ears with no give, the housing is so cheap that both sides cracked just from simply storing it inside the dustbag. I don't know what's worse these for the jbl Peleton sport buds. Never buying jbl again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love headphones, so I decided to try these. Connecting my headphones to my phones Bluetooth was a bit of a struggle, but once I got started and downloaded the app needed I loved the features. Has the option for foggle assistance or Alexa! Good sound quality, able to adjust the QE which is a big thing for me.
Overall really liking my new headphones!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first set of noise canceling, over the ear headphones. The product is well packaged to prevent damage from drops at the retail level or storage. It contains the headphones, a black, cloth bag to store them in, the charging cable (which is not compatible with my two in ear JBL headphones) AND a cable to plug them directly into a device though it’s not very long (that’s what she said!).
I plugged them into charge and it didn’t take long. There is a claim on the box that a 10 minute charge is good for 4 hours of use. I didn’t take the claim up.
After a quick and painless connection via Bluetooth to my iPhone, I downloaded the JBL Headphones app as recommended. Once I selected my headphones it worked seamlessly. Instead of trying to use the small controls on the headphones, the app makes is easy to control all of the features.
One design feature I really liked was the ear covers are tilted to the rear a bit. This makes them fit over your ears comfortably.
There are three different levels for noise cancellation, one is just a pass through with no cancellation and allows you to hear a conversation very well. The second is limited and the third is almost complete cancellation which has some white noise.
I listened to some music (Rammstein!) videos, movies, satellite radio, etc. I heard details in the music that I’ve never heard before. The sound quality was just fantastic. Really, everything was elevated in quality.
I used them while mowing my lawn with the highest quality of cancellation and music and they did a great job of eliminating the mower sound.
I didn’t try the Google assistant or Alexa features as quite frankly, I hate them in general. Sorry I couldn’t help you there.
Overall, these are worth the money to purchase. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do.

Great noise canceling and Sound Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you prefer on ear headphones that sound great and include the noise canceling feature, these will be great for you. The battery life was impressive and the recharging was fast. The headphones fold allowing easy storage and they're lightweight so they stay comfortable for hours. If I had to nit pick I'd say the area where the ear makes contact is prone to tear if you're not careful. Overall these headphones are great and anyone who purchases them will be happy with their performance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These headphones have some really good sound and the noice canceling is also very good. I wear them for around 8 hours per day and I don't feel any real discomfort. Bluetooth pairs nice and the voice assistants also work great. I like the feature when the music stop after I remove my headphones and then resumes the music once I put them back on. It is also nice that you get a power button/slider to completely power off the unit when it is not in use. Phone call quality is also very good. My son tried out these headphones after I used them for a week and he took ownership of them now. I'm very happy with this product and it is definitely a good purchase if you are looking for a pair of headphones.

Not Impressed, my old set from 6yrs ago are better
on January 16, 2024

Purchased these to replace my ancient original JBL Tune headset. This new headset works okay. The noise cancelling sort of works - it does cancel out noise, but it also gives off some sort of white noise as well in the headset. I also at one point went to turn noise cancelling on, and one of the ears made this horrific screeching grainy sound. Turned headset off and it hasn't done it since. But now it occasionally cuts out sound for a second, I'll be listening to music or a movie and the sound won't come through for a second or two in both ears. I am not impressed with these, my old ones I bought over 6 years ago were better quality.

We're here to help with your JBL Tune 660NC. Please make sure that there's no other device connected to your source device. Try using a wired connection and see if the issue remains. We also recommend doing a factory reset. To do this, switch the unit ON, then press and hold the Volume + and Volume - buttons for more than 5 seconds. If the issue persists, please contact our Customer Support so we can assist you.
