Knee brace doesn’t work for me

The elastic bands are so tight they are painful but it was loose around the knee. No good.

The total length of the sleeve needs to be much longer to accommodate large legs. I have large (once “muscular” in my younger years) calves and thighs. The narrow bands at the top and bottom of the sleeve causes a “tourniquet”
effect, causing some discomfort. I wear the sleeve quite a lot during daily activities. However, if the upper and lower bands and the overall length could be increased, the sleeve would be much more comfortable and wearable. The addition and location of the support straps seem to be perfect in length and placement and should remain as they are. I WOULD buy the new version. Thanks

Sleeve was marked Large but it is larger than the XL that I have purchased recently.
I ordered this size (L) because the XL were slipping and not holding. Please advise if there is a way to shrink them? Thanks
