This computer is amazing especially considering price to performance value! Included is an i9 with a 3080 and ddr5 ram…and not to mention a 240hz QHD display. I have been blown away. The thermal levels have been impressive even under heavy loads for extended gaming sessions. Fast 1TB SSD, many RGB if that’s your thing, other than a dedicated built in camera this computer doesn’t disappoint!!!

This laptop serves as a gaming laptop and a workstation, with an ASUS 34" QHD monitor, Corsair wired keyboard, Corsair wireless mouse, Asus Qi charging mousepad, and Beats Bluetooth speaker. I am very pleased with this setup, as I have portability, muscle, and cutting edge technology.

This is by far the best computer that I have ever owned and should be deserving of 5 stars. The reason for 4 stars is due to some overlooked items that should be available with a computer of this caliber. The biggest is there is no webcam and for the price that is paid there should be one at least provided separately but alas, you have to buy it for a 2-3 figure hefty price and it doesn't include IR, which is needed for windows hello. If you don't use windows hello, then the specs look pretty good. The next thing is that there are 3 small white circular lights which indicate power, charging and ethernet. These are bright, especially at night, and there are no ways to turn the lights off or to dim them, even while the computer is sleeping. This causes a big annoyance at night for those who have it in the same room. The only thing to do is to cover it, which is ridiculous considering all of the RGB control that this has. The next thing is that the overall customization of the little quality-of-life settings seem very limited, like the customization options for the M1-5 keys. I will be keeping this as it is amazing but the more you have it and play around with it, the more little nuanced things you find that should be able to change, given the price and power of this laptop, but can't. It is right on the edge of getting a 5 but I feel like the people involved with making this computer and testing it weren't asking all of the right questions.

Best gaming laptop ever. Seriously, doesn’t get hot compared to all the laptops I ever owned gaming. It really has a good ventilation to dissipate heat.

Out of the box it had problem, and as I type this it still has problems Tech either unwilling or unable to correct without sending a brand-new unit back. This is my fourth Asus in 12 years and it may be the last the G750j ROG even broken still kicks this units butt. No DVD/CD drive, mouse and other drivers are screwed up and no method of correction. Emails unanswered, despite Tech stating 24-48 hours and its now been a week. SAD
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Best Laptop with Perfect Specs for AAA Gaming.

This ASUS Scar 15 G533 is beyond amazing! I also own a super powerful tower with an ASUS TUF RTX3090, and this Laptop which has an RTX3080, gets about the same performance as my tower. I purchased this to be able to game on the road without having to sacrifice the performance I'm used to getting on my tower. But now I find myself using this laptop all over my house, instead of my tower. Overall, I highly recommend this Gaming Laptop. It is beyond powerful. With an RTX3080 paired with an i9-12000h it is able to handle the newest AAA games on Ultra and/or Extreme Settings like it's nothing, while producing a crisp image at 120-160 FPS on it's 1440p IPS Screen. If you are worried about temperatures, no need to worry. This laptop stays between 70° and 85° under heavy gaming on max settings for extended periods of time. So the cooling technology ASUS advertises is not a gimmick. Speakers are decent. Customizable RGB Lighting is a huge plus if you are into showing off with lighting. The screen is the perfect size for laptop gaming and extremely vivid at 1440p with it's 240Hz refresh rate. ASUS spent some time on the exterior design of this laptop as well. As mentioned previously, the RGB Lighting is great, but aside from that it looks and feels like an extremely high quality machine. I've said this in the past on previous reviews, this is not my first ASUS product, and from what I have seen in my experience, ASUS makes superior products and I will continue to consider them before any other company when purchasing my tech gear.
