Wanted to Love it, but I just Don’t

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes for this product, but it just didn’t meet my expectations. I could barely get a curl out of it, but when it did curl it came out looking like I used a square barrel. It was so krimped looking! I can’t say it was a total flop, it did get my bangs to look pretty nice. I’m sure if I play around with it enough and am strategic about it, I might be able to get the rest of my hair to look nice. It would just take more effort to do than it would if I just used a curling wand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is definitely different then wands/irons I’ve used before. Im only really experienced with wands so this was a little bit of an adjustment but after a couple of tries I got it. I liked the way my curls looked but they didn’t last as long as I would like them to. Definitely would use when trying to achieve the loose curl/bed hair look on my hair.

Not best for beginners

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While this tool was effective, it was somewhat difficult to use. I am more of a beginner when it comes to hair tools, and I wouldn’t be able to curl my entire head of my waist-length hair on my own with this tool without help. My sister is more experienced and uses a curling wand several days a week on her full head of hair, and I had her try the tool out, just to make sure it wasn’t just my lack of experience. She said it worked well, but it was harder to use than the wand she uses. She said she had to recurl some pieces more than once. Maybe with more practice she would like this tool more, but she said she got somewhat frustrated with it at times not producing the curl she wanted. She said that it wasn’t a bad tool, but wands seem to be more user friendly to her.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tool is AMAZING! I have never curled my hair this easily, this quickly. It was almost instantaneous. The cooling affect helped a lot as well; usually my hair smells like I used heat (that slight burnt smell, no matter what) but this product did not do that!! It can also be used as a straightener. I don’t need any other hot tool, this does it all!

cool air curling iron

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best curling iron I have owned. My hair is stubborn and I usually don’t do much with it. This thing actually curled my hair and didn’t have that “oh god I’m frying my hair” feeling. It is affordable in my eyes. I will be buying it again but it seems built well so hopefully it will last a while.

The cool air doesn't do much but a decent curler!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I personally didn't notice a difference in terms of the longevity or quality of my curls when using the cold air versus using this as a regular curling iron only. It's a bit tricky to get the hang of using the cold function and the design isn't particularly intuitive, so I don't think that aspect of the product is great. Still, as a regular curling iron, this does the job and works well enough.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this from Influenster to try out for my review and I loved it! The cool air system is so great, definitely feels less damaging because I don’t get the searing sounds and it cools it down quickly so it sets the curls. If you don’t like the cool air, you could also turn it off as well. I think there’s definitely a bit of a learning curve, figuring out how much hair you can use it on and the technique, but it does get simpler as you go. I think if you have a lot of thick hair though, this will definitely take you some time cause you can’t do too much hair at once. Also, this is best for loose curls, and it curls mostly just the bottom half of the hair with the way I have been using it. So if you’re looking for tighter curls, this is probably not the best tool for you. For an every day style, I definitely recommend this tool. It gives my curls a very soft look.
