Worth the bells and whistles?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: it works. Meaning the plates work to style your hair. Feels really fancy.
Cons: it’s complicated to even figure out how to use. When I curled my hair, they always ended up tighter than I like. When I tried to straighten my hair, it still had some curl to it. The fan is intense, and the release mechanism is so small you have to be very focused in order to hit the right spot. This is not a tool that styles hair quickly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited when i received this. Its a first for me but it was a little tricky at first to use. I had to read the instructions on how to turn it on. I have super thick hair so it took me a couple tries to see how big the sections i can do and how to get a good curl. But you definitely have to be consistent with the way your curling and spinning the barrel. But overall it does make nice curls.

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was SO excited to receive and try this but I am really disappointed. The concept is super cool and makes a lot of sense- heat and then cool to set. It took me a few times to get the hang of how it worked, but after that it was super easy. I curled my whole head and hair sprayed and it looked really nice. However, maybe 15 mins later all of the curls fell out. I’m disappointed because my hair typically holds a great curl for days after using a ceramic curling iron. I’m going to practice and give it a few more tries to see if it gets better, but overall I’m underwhelmed.

Works pretty well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, this hair curler is not as intuitive as other ones that I've used. It takes some practice. But it worked decently on my hair. I don't style my hair very often but I'll keep this in my drawer! I think there's room for improvement, especially with the clamp, but it works well enough.

Unique and works!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed this and was intrigued by the cool air technology this tool uses. I do feel it helps to set my curl after styling! The fan was a bit alarming to hear at first but I eventually got used to it's sound. The curls I got were also beautiful! Everything felt like good quality and I like the design on the tool a lot. The only thing that was a bother for me was that the curler started to smell like burnt plastic after awhile. It was strong and I want sure why it smelled this way, maybe after more use it goes away?
Overall, I really like this too and the concept of cool air being used to set your style after use. It's my first time trying anything like that before and I do believe it helps. I would just wish the smell wasn't there.
I would recommend this to a friend!
