Nifty hair tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to use but does take practice to perfect certain hairstyles! I have layered chin-length hair and this tool is great for curtain bangs and giving me volume around my crown area. It's a bit tricky to fully curl my hair but it could be due to the length of my hair.

Disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so stoked to receive this curling wand from influenster and Conair to review, but it was such a letdown to use. First of all, there's only one button, it's an Off button, you have to press it multiple times to get to a setting you need. How difficult would that be to just make a separate button for heat settings? Also it was a pain to turn on, it wasn't intuitive. Extremely poor design, imo. Second, after struggling to turn this thing on I tried making some hair waves. My hair is long, thin and baby-soft, so it shouldn't have a problem curling, right? Wrong. I tried to curl a small section of hair and, although I achieved a curl, the wand pulled several strands out. I tried again, and yet, the wand grabbed several strands and wouldn't let go unless I opened the wand, stopping the curl from continuing down the hair shaft. I lost quite a bunch of hair on the second pass, quickly abandoning the whole curling idea. Third, the curling wand doesn't open wide, not allowing for a comfortable start to your curl. Fourth, the air cooling makes a loud noise like a hair blower, not cute. Fifth, the curls are very inconsistent, some are right, some came out totally flat. If I had paid money for this item I would return it to the store right away.
I'm starting to think, that all those 5 star reviews are from those poor unlucky people who never tried a decent barrel straightener with a curling option before.

Go buy it!

I used to curl my hair with my straightener but I was constantly burning my fingers and leaving my hair smelling like it was burning. With the built in fan on this product my hair comes out with amazing lasting curls that are not hot or smell fried. I have long hair that goes down my whole back and I can curl it all in 15 minutes with this product. If you have long or thick hair it will definitely cut down on your styling time! I had my doubts about this product but after using it I think it may be mg new go to hair tool! Go buy yourself one!

Pretty Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who likes to use a flat iron to curl their hair, this was very easy for me to use. I can see how it would be tricky to get the hang of it for others. I would say it curled more than loose waves. Need to master that technique. The curls lasted me all day and night. I have thick and wavy hair. It was very loud, which I get because of the fan, but I don’t love how loud it is. It does really immediately cool your hair. My favorite part was that my hair never smelled burnt. As far as protecting the hair, I give it 10/10. The curls to me weren’t as good as what I get from a flat iron or curling wand, however. I do think it is a great product and I will continue to use.

Learning curve

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The InfinitiPRO by Conair takes a little getting use to. There is definitely a learning curve. Once you get the hang of using it, it’s awesome! I was able to create beautiful loose curls. My hair was immediately cool to the touch when released from the styler. It can grab and pull hairs. It only happened a couple of times, but it is something to watch out for. This is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

Not for a beginner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I’m going to preface this by saying, I’m terrible at curling My hair or really just doing anything to it besides flat ironing it. I have naturally long, straight, pretty thick hair that, more times than not, is in some sort of messy mom bun. I took one star off bc my a “hair idiot” and also bc I feel like the plates could be hotter. When you hold it, with the fan on, the outside of the curler is able to be held. The release button only opens it a little, in the picture is how far it opens. I struggled to hold it the correct way to get all of my long hair through it to actually become curled. After probably 5-6 tries I was able to get a decent ringlet though gave up after trying to replicate it due to limited showering time while my 2 littles nap. If I had more time I would be willing to try again to see if I can get the hang of it but even if I did, I think it would take me forever to do all my hair bc of how much I have and you need to put small amounts in at a time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The base of this curling iron caught my hair and pulled a bunch out. It feels cheap and it doesn’t open very wide so you almost have to slide your hair in. It did create a curl that held but was not impressed on usability.
