Unique Cooling Curling Iron

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a unique curling wand. It may be a bit of a learning curve if you’re not used to a flat iron to curl, but once you get the hang of it, you’re golden! I love the way it cools the hair instantly to lock in the curl. You can create different types of curls and waves, depending on your technique. I wasn’t expecting the low hum of a hairdryer sound, but it makes sense due to its cooling function. I would recommend that you give this a try.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was hard to figure out how to use at first. It would shut off before I was finished doing my hair and I wasn’t getting my hair to curl. Not sure if it was not plugged in completely. I still can’t curl my hair all the same but I’m sure after more practice it would be better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never tried curling my hair and so as a first time user,this product worked very well for me. It just gives me the kind of curls I want and in the time I want( 10 minutes).I use the medium heat setting as my hair are not very thick and are at shoulder length.Gave it 4 stars because you have to be really really careful using it or it might burn your fingers.

only curled my ends

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the concept of this product but after trying a few times I was only able to curl my ends. As you get to the top I think the air cools the hair before it gets a chance to curl. Thank you Influenster for allowing me to try this product complimentary however I would not recommend unless maybe you have short or thin hair.

Great concept

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this product. However, I think there can be some improvements. It takes a bit to get the hang of and the instructions are definitely needed. The straightening plates could definitely be tighter to be tighter to hold the hair in place when curling. What is good about this product is the outer shell stays cool and prevents you from burning yourself or the countertop.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cool concept, not as efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ll start off by saying that I appreciate the idea of using cool air to reduce damage when styling hair. That being said, this did not work as well for me as my traditional heat styling hair tools. For reference I have really long and thick hair. This took way longer to use as I had to work in smaller sections and the barrel wasn’t long enough to wrap all my hair around so only the very bottom of my hair got curled. Additionally the curls did not look as good and fell out within an hour while I’m used to my hair staying curled for days with other tools. While this didn’t work for me and I won’t continue to use it, this may work for those with shorter or thinner hair that are concerned about heat damage.
