[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I watched all of the tutorial videos, read the instructions over and over, and tried again and again. All of this and not a single curl from this. I drafted my boyfriend and he could not get it to curl my hair either.

IDK HOW TO FEEL

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay so I got this curling wand/iron and tried it out for the first time the other day… it’s not that hard to figure out once you figure out how to turn it on…lol. I tried it on my hair first and wasn’t expecting much but it surprised me and got the job done. For me, I prefer my curling wand over it, HOWEVER, we also tried it on my friends hair and she is someone who has always struggled to curl her hair. SHE LOVED IT. It’s the only curling appliance that she can successfully use herself… so take this how you will.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The curler is not that easy to use. I first tried this on the ends of my hair to curl up, but it didn't work. I then tried from the top and it wasn't great either. I found the waves to be very loose (also kind of ugly) and it's slightly annoying how the plates doesn't grip my hair well. I like the fact that the fan prevents me from burning myself, but I found this curler a lot harder than I remember ever using. I wouldn't buy this for myself.

Kinda odd

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried it multiple times and just can’t get it right. I have thick long hair and it was hard to get it to stay put. I tried different ways to use it and just couldn’t get the hang of it. It also pulled my hair quite a lot. Might work better if you have shorter hair!

nice concept, could be difficult for beginners

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this curling iron and immediately thought it was a nice concept. There is a little bit of technical difficulty just getting it turned on. While curling my hair, I often accidentally turned off the device because of the placement of the power button. If you aren’t familiar with curling your hair, this can easily crease your hair if your movement isn’t fluid with the device. Pros are it heats up and curls quickly. You just need to be familiar with hair for it to work well for you.

Not effective for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried to use this styler twice. My hair is very thick and course, so it barely curled even on the high setting. Even if it had, it would take me a lot of time to do lots of small pieces at a time. All it seemed to do for me was leave a bit of curl at the ends. No waves the rest of the way up?
The noise was annoying too BUT I could tell that the cooling feature was preventing heat damage to my hair. Glad I did not buy this item because it absolutely would have been returned for underperformance.
