amazing curling iron!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this product! It takes some practice to get it to curl but once you do it’s amazing! The cooling device really does help protect your hair from getting to much heat. I would highly recommend this product to anyone that struggles with a normal curling iron like myself!

Smoothed Hair, Not Really “Waves”

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have long hair that reaches the middle of my back. I followed the directions but I didn’t get the waves promised. I may need to look up some tutorials to see if others have any tips or tricks that result in more of a wave. It did smooth my hair and give a nice shape to the ends. The cooling fan is not too noisy and I’m glad for the finger-safe area at the tip. I’m happy to have this since it gives the ends of my hair that slight curl that my usual flat iron cannot, but those who already use their flat iron to obtain that kind of effect may not need to purchase this separate tool. I received this product for free from Influenster.

Hard to master

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to receive & try this curler, but excitement quickly subsided after first use. I love the idea of this straightener/curler with cool air flowing from barrel to lock in style & minimize damage, but I just had a hard time. It does well with forming waves, body & straightening hair, but hard to achieve a tight curl. In fact, the curl pattern was off. I tried several times, many different ways and just couldn’t get it. Have to use small sections of hair as well, so won’t be go for those with thick hair. Did hold odd looking curls though(not a good thing in this situation). I inserted next day pics of hair. I don’t think I care for this curler. I will try a few more times, but I think I may be gifting this to someone. Don’t think I’d recommend either. I’ll update if I feel differently..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took me forever to figure out how to even get it turned on and working and once I did that and started to try styling my hair, nothing happened. It gave a little bit of a wave but didn’t curl it at all and I even tried turning it onto a higher setting to see if that would help but it did even less. I feel like it kept turning off while I was trying to style my hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received complimentary. First product in a long time that I’ve been SUPER excited to receive & review. Having super thin hair, I am always worried about damaging it through the use of heat styling tools. My hair is very straight naturally & I think it looks better when curled, so I was very intrigued to hear about this product. This tool took a bit of a learning curve for me since I have never been good at the technique of curling with a straightener, but once I got the hang of it, the result was beautiful, beachy waves/curls. The best part was that my hair was immediately cool to the touch. Only downside would be the release button. After a while, my finger got tired from pressing it (wish it was easier & opened wider). I feel 100x better about curling my thin hair now because of this cooling tool! Highly recommend!

love the concept but not sure it’s meant for mid-s

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right away I loved the IDEA of this tool, but honestly I am disappointed that it wasn’t really as usable as I expected- it’s definitely meant for someone with longer hair who wants a specific look. Overall, I don’t think it will do me much good but? I can see how it might be nice for someone with long hair.

very easy to use and foolproof

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked using this! I never heat treat my hair, I dont want it getting damaged. But I liked the idea of the cold air helping cool down your hair. I used this to do larger beachy waves. I liked the look a lot, and the ease of use. Not something I would usually buy, but still enjoyed using it. Will be great for summer!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product actually worked quite well for me, but I feel like it’s only useful for people that don’t own any other styling tools. I have very long, straight hair that doesn’t hold a curl, and this did a great job on my hair. I attached a picture of my curls before I brushed them out, and I’m really happy with how they look. They also lasted almost of the day, which is amazing for my hair type. However, this is basically just a flat iron with a fan, and I didn’t even use the fan function because I prefer to let my curls cool on their own after styling. The main issue with this is the packaging makes the product look like a traditional curling iron, so I can see people having issues styling their hair if they attempt to use it like a regular curling iron. I only curl my hair with a flat iron, so this worked well for me, but it’s definitely not something a beginner would be able to use easily if they have never looked up how to curl their hair using a flat iron technique. I don’t see myself reaching for this because I already own a flat iron, and the barrel on this product opens really small, so I have to take tiny sections. This makes the process take ages on my super long hair, and I honestly don’t have time for that. Overall, this product is fine. I will probably give it to my mom because she doesn’t have a styling tool like this, so she will get more benefit out of this product than I will.
