Almost perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Influenster and Conair in exchange for my honest review. I want to commend a company making such an affordable product so everyone has a chance to get a unique hair styling tool. With this curling iron, it has plates that work as a straightener so there are a ton of different styles you can create with this one iron. You can clamp hair like you would with a straight iron and glide down rounding out the bottom of the hair for a polished blowout type style. You can do a half twist and glide down the hair to create a lose wave type curl. You can wrap up as a traditional curling iron. You can twist multiple times and glide down to create a different type of curl, the options are truly endless. I found it to heat up in a quick enough time and my curls held for slightly less time than some higher end curling irons I have in my collection but again for the price this is a great option. Now my only real negative about the iron is how far the curling iron opens. I found it extremely difficult to get my section of hair in between the plates bc it didn’t open far enough and it was def a learning curve to figure out how to get my hair in between the plates. Using smaller sections of hair helped but sometimes I like using bigger pieces as I don’t have much time to do small sections before work. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is just ok. The curls are not always even and there is a learning curve to have it work just right. I have thing, fine hair and even the lowest heat setting was too much for my hair. I think there are better products on the market.

Doesn’t work on my hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This seems like a really great idea, however it simply didn’t curl my hair. My best friend tried it on herself and she got beautiful curls out of it. She also tried the same technique on my hair and nothing…. Flat. And it pullout out strands of my hair with every pass. So this product isn’t for me and I would not recommend it for those with thin-stranded, thick hair.

A cool concept

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really cool concept but I wish it had come with a tutorial or something. The buttons to turn it on and off are confusing, there is just the one power for control and you have to click through it for the different heat settings. I think it’s great for my shorter, shoulder length hair, but it wasn’t easy to use on my daughters with longer hair. Definitely takes practice, but I was able to get some beachy waves.

learning curve

Kind of damaging.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This created really beautiful curls and I loved the cool air element of it. However the plates themselves are of a lesser quality and my hair would get caught in the crevices between the plate and erring and it damaged the ends of my hair.
