Good for short hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes for this curler. I have very long and thick hair, and the thought of using a cool air system, plus not worrying about hair being too long to wind around the wand, was very appealing. Unfortunately, after about 10 attempts on different wash/no wash days and different areas of my hair, I gave up. Granted, it says that the curler is supposed to produce looser waves, but as you can see in the picture, it barely changed the look. It also didn’t take long for the small wave it did give to fall out. Now, on the other hand, my daughter has short, thick hair, and it worked perfectly-didn’t take long (usually it takes forever to curl all her hair), and produced super cute little curls. My advice-if you have long, heavier (or just thick), or fine hair, this probably won’t work the best, however, it’s a fast and effective styling tool for shorter hair.

Love it!!!

I was skeptical because I have really fine hair, but this actually gave me lasting bounce and waves. Also, I love the cooling technology... definitely better for my hair. Super easy to use, too! Better then even expected!!

My number 1 favorite beauty tool now!

When I received the product I was pretty skeptical. I have never even seen the product but, I love the cool air concept. When opening the item I could immediately tell it was made very well not cheap. Next I noticed how different it looks from other hair tools. So I opened the very nicely packed box then went over the very detailed directions and it was absolutely amazing. This product did everything it said it would and I was shocked at how easy it is to use My 2 absolutely favorite things about this product is first how it protects my hair from heat damage. With other hair tools you can’t even touch your hair after using it in fear you would be burnt. It makes my hair look shiny and healthy after the first use. My 2nd favorite is my 9 year old daughter also loves this styling tool and can use it all my her self do to the cool air and no damage to her very young hair. My daughter always wants me to straighten her hair which I refused to do because of the damage it would do to her hair. Other hair tool and hair it self gets so hot which made her very nervous. Now she can plug this cool air tool in and have no worries of being burnt and actually can do it by herself. I wish I would have knew about this product sooner.

Addresses some curling iron hassles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gorgeous curls like you get with a straight iron. The fans cool the hair so it's not too hot to touch right out of the tool, and they are quieter than even a hair dryer. the tip is cool to touch throughout the heating, which is so nice. I also accidentally tapped my forehead with the barrel (...for science of course) and it felt hot, but did not leave a mark/blister like a curling iron would. the learning curve was quite easy too. I need a small bit more practice, but nothing excessive. I have fine-normal hair and used the middle setting on fully dry hair (like the instructions say to).

Unique product, not the best result

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I’ve never used a style tool quite like this one before. I have straight, bleached / balayaged asian hair so I’m always looking for something that will damage my hair less. The curls it gave me were not as neat as my regular barrel clip curling iron, but they did last about a day longer. I’m not totally convinced at how much it is saving or not damaging my hair. It does quickly cool it off to set, but beyond that I’m not sure it makes a huge difference. The buttons were super hard to figure out and I don’t still quite know how to use them exactly. The curls did not come out consistent depending on how much hair you were putting in it and it’s an even bigger learning curve with long hair. I’m not sure I will use this product again in the future and I still haven’t found the perfect hair tool! Maybe some more practice will help but it did not shorten the time it took me that’s for sure.

Not for my hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have very straight hair, and this did not work on my hair at all. It might work for someone else. I would say it is more gentle on hair than a regular curling iron would be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really loved the concept of the curling iron with straightener. If you have frizz it help straighten the hairs down before curl. The curls reminded me of wavy hair. The only downside is you can only use a small amount of hair at one time. It can take awhile if you have thick hair. Otherwise i really enjoyed using the product.

cool air styler

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the idea of this air styler! It is small and not a lot of hair is able to be curled at once.. so you do have to do your hair in smaller sections. I would buy a similar air styler but not this exact one.
